The Liebster Award!

Hello gorgeous!

In most places, it's the time of year when everyone's tanning, travelling and taking a break from all the hassle, but on bloggers world, it's time for the Liebster Award and I'm excited to say, I've been nominated for the award by the lovely Erin from adaydreaminpink. I was secretly hoping I'd get nominated because it's simply an honour for any blogger out there, so a huge thank you goes to Erin for this!

If you didn't know already, the award is a way to get people aware of amazing blogs with a limited amount of followers. You get nominated by a blogger and then nominate 11 bloggers you think deserve a little more attention.

The rules:
1 You must link back to the person that nominated you.

2 You must answer the 11 Liebster questions given to you by the nominee before you.

3 You must pick 11 bloggers to be nominated for the award with under 200 followers.

4 You must come up with 11 questions for your nominees to answer.

5 You must go to their blogs and notify your nominees.
My 11 blog nominations are:

Erin's questions:
1. What's one thing would you tell your younger self?

One thing I'd tell my younger self.. Is to take chances. I was a shy girl for as long as I could remember and I can still be at times, but there's no need to be. You'll be missing out on a lot of opportunities and end up regretting it. Have a little confidence, whatever happens; happens.
2. Favourite ever beauty item?

If I had to choose one beauty item that would be my only beauty product, I'd choose concealer just because a little bit could make all the difference on me. But for my ultimate beauty product.. I'm gonna say it's the Lancôme Maison Blush, it has the most chic, gorgeous pallete I've seen for a blush. It takes me to a night in Paris and I just love the way it brightens my whole face with just a little touch. Sadly, it was limited edition and I only got my hands on two purchases. But here's a photo:
Ah.. So gorgeous!
3. If you had one superpower for the day, what would it be and why?

Teleport. The ability to be wherever, whenever I'd like, because there's someplace I'd love to be and teleport is just the best way.

4. Favourite film?

I have a bunch of favourite films and I really can't choose, so here's my list.. Harry Potter, The Vow, Father of the Bride, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Charlie St. Cloud, The Last Song, Step Up, She's the Man, Up, A Cinderella Story.. and that's all I can remember!

The one place you’d love to visit?

New York without a doubt.

6. What job did you want to have as a child?

As a child, we all have the wildest dreams and to be completely honest with you guys, I wanted to be a princess, a firefighter, a doctor and a wedding planner all at the same time.

7. Your number one beauty tip?

Let your skin breathe. Wash your face twice a day and you're good to go! Washing your face means cleansing your pores and washing away all that unwanted bacteria.

8. If you could meet one person (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

My grandfather. He passed away a month before I was born and I just believe he was a great person and I wish I had the chance to spend even a little while with him.
9. Who is your ‘weird’ celebrity crush?

My weird celebrity crush is.. Simon Cowell and I have no explanation.

10. What is your favourite high street store?

Miss Selfridge! They always have a variety of choices and you basically can't go wrong with anything you purchase. I love their girly prints and details, instant urge to spend my money.

11. What is your favourite drug store/high street makeup brand and why?

Drugstore: Maybelline because it always comes out with great products and basically, most of my drugstore makeup is from there. Not to mention, some of their products smell so good!

High street: If you've been following on my blog, you'd know I'm in love with Lancôme and have almost every makeup item in the brand. I also love Clinique and recently, I've been loving Benefit as well so those three are on the top of my life. They work well on my skin and I love a good finishing touch without overdoing my makeup or damaging my skin and these three are just amazing!

My 11 questions:
1. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
2. Who do you think is the most fashionable celebrity couple?
3. As kids, we all have horrible fashion days. What was your worst outfit?
4. If you could get your hands on any wardrobe, whose would it be?
5. What's your favourite trend of 2013?
6. If we only had one season throughout the whole year, which one would you prefer?
7. How do you see yourself 10 years from now?
8. What's your favourite memory?
9. Who do you look up to as a person and why?
10. What do you think is your best feature?
11. What's the most precious item in your room?

That was a very long post but I really enjoyed it and I hope you did too. Thanks again to Erin! Let me know your answers to my questions and hers in the comments below, and if you didn't I'm having a voting session where you choose my next post, so be sure to check that out and leave your vote or suggestion right here.

Congrats to everyone who was nominated!

My Hair Care Routine!

Hello gorgeous!
In just a few hours, I'm officially turning eighteen. EIGHTEEN! and this is officially my second birthday blogging. So for my 18th birthday,I'm handing you guys a gift; a new post!
I was requested to do a Hair Care Routine by a lovely anon on, which was a little bit surprising but why not!

They say a girl's smile is her best accessory, as I might agree, I think hair is just as equal as your that gorgeous smile. As Hilary Clinton says "If I want to knock a story off the front page, I just change my hairstyle", stunning hair is a must for models, actresses, your favourite singers and anyone on the red carpet, so why not you?

My routine won't be a very long list, but let's get to it!
#1: Washing my hair with cold water

Straight from taking a shower or a long bath, I've been making sure cold water hits my scalp. Just the way cold water is your skin's best friend, it is to your hair. Cold water makes your hair healthy looking with a touch of glow, just like cold air. Which is why blow driers have a cool air, if you ever wondered. Cold water closes the cuticles, giving you stronger hair and less fallouts. I could go on and on about the benefits of cold water, so if you wanna know more, you could leave a message on my ask, or a comment down below!

#2: Sunsilk Shampoo

I love trying different shampoos and scents for my hair, but for a few months now, I've found myself constantly going back to Sunsilk! With it's new formula, it does exactly what it says, giving you super silky hair with just one wash. I've tried the green, pink, purple, neon blue, gold, red and yellow and I've loved them all! They smell amazing and you can skip the conditioner, saving your hair from all the additional chemicals.

#3: Tresemme Styling Spray with Heat Defense

Right out of the shower, I have been loving this! It literally helps a ton with styling my hair, since I've taken a break and noticed the difference. It also protects my hair from heat which is a definite must when I'm basically playing with my hair all the time.

#4: Energy Cosmetics' Perfect Fruit Serum

If I'm not using the Tresemme styling spray, I'll head to this amazing serum. I like to go back and forth between these two products, because I like how they both work, so whenever I'm going through a bad split-ends week, I'll just use this for a little quick repair! One thing I've noticed is you should never use this serum and the styling spray at the same time, that just turns into a mess, which is why I go back and forth with them! I spoke about this in my June Favourites which you may check out right there.

#5: Brush my hair!

After applying one of the two above and maybe waiting for my hair to dry a little, I brush my hair. Yes, I know, bad habit! But I just can't get myself to comb it. A tap on my hand for that!

#6: Batiste Dry Shampoo

After drying and styling my hair, if it seems a little flat, I like spraying some of this on my hair for more volume! Note: I don't always use this, just when it's needed. Plus, my hair stays oil-free for a longer amount of time which is great. I also have this in my June Favourites if you'd like to read more.

#7: Extras!

I have been using these heat products which I actually like, may I just say the hot pink straightener caught my eye with just the colour! I tend to dry my hair quite often, just because it takes forever to dry on it's own. I use the Braun Satin Hair 5 for that, and when I'm going for more than just a natural look, I'll use the Jose eber Pro Series straightener to either straighten my hair or give it a different kind of wave.

Something I like to do is plait my hair and run the hair dryer around the plaited part and that works amazing! I tend to go for a natural look half of the time, just to spare it from more damage!
Basically, that's all! I hope this was a useful post, If you'd like a skincare routine, just leave me a comment below! Or you could leave me a message on my ask right here.
What's your hair care routine? Let me know down below.

Thanks for reading!

Double Review: Dream Fresh BB Cream + 3 Step Skincare System

Hello lovely!

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have been trying out a handful of beauty products lately; skincare, makeup and a few things out of my comfort zone. I love playing around, experimenting and perhaps finding great products.

I have quite sensitive skin and it doesn't accept everything that is applied on it, which is a little bit of hardwork but a treat to you guys since I'll be reviewing what has worked for me and what hasn't.

Let's start...

The Dream Fresh BB Cream by Maybelline

This was actually in my June monthly favourites but I'm officially crossing it off my list. The BB cream and I have been in an on and off relationship for a few months now, I've loved it for a while in June and started applying it everyday, I loved the way it felt on my skin, how fresh my skin would feel after applying it and the fact that it was a great way to ditch heavy foundation. It blended with my concealer very well but a lot of times, it would start getting cakey on my skin and I often blamed the heat. I was breaking out a lot and again blamed the heat or the unhealthy foods I've had. My mum told me to go back to my old makeup routine, so I did. And well, my skin started getting a lot better. I don't know if it's just me and my skin type because I know a lot of people really love this product, but if you've been breaking out more than usual, give your skin a break away from the BB cream and let me know how that works for you!

The 3-Step Skincare System by Clinique

The 3-Step Skincare System, made to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise, also created for 2 very different skin types, has been working amazingly on my skin. I've read a lot of reviews, some complaining and some completely raving about how much they've loved this package. So basically, this can be really good or just pricey liquid depending on your skin. I haven't included the moisturiser because it wasn't with me at the time and I have not been using the 3-steps all together, but I can tell you the moisturiser hasn't disappointed anyone yet. It feels great on the skin with a formula made to be absorbed flawlessly by all skin types.

Onto cleansing and exfoliating! I have been breaking out like I said, and these two bottle of goodness have been great to my skin. Here's a little information: You get a lot of bacteria and germs on your skin, precisely around your spots and it is easily spreaded all over your face, which makes getting rid of spots double the time and effort. These two steps cleanse your face and get rid of bacteria and germs as much as it possibly can, the exfoliation can sting a little bit but it really does clean up your face, preventing your spots from coming back and healing them a whole lot faster. I've definitely loved using them and I will be repurchasing.

For both my reviews, that's how the products have worked for me and my skin type and everyone would have a different opinion as well as a different result.

Have you tried these products? If you have, how did you like them? Give me a little review down in the comments!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and if you've noticed, I've been posting a lot more lately, if you want me to continue, please leave a comment below!

Also, if you have any requests, any questions, anything you'd like advice on, please leave me a little message on my ask right here and I'd happily respond!

Until next time,

10 products.... Part 2!

Hello gorgeous!

It's a little bit past my bedtime and I'm wide awake. So what better way to spend my time than to please my readers?

Just a couple of days ago, I put up a post about the 10 products almost every beauty guru owns that my collection lacks. Basically, they're the products that have been raved about nonstop and I've yet to spend my money on.

If you haven't read part 1 yet, you may go ahead and check it out here, and if you'd like to use the idea of this post, that would be lovely but please give me credit*

Let's continue!

#6: The Rocket Volume Express Mascara by Maybelline

The amount of reviews, makeup tutorials, monthly favourites and hauls this mascara has been in is insane. It's the drugstore standard for awesome lashes, cheap and highly effective. There's also a waterproof formula which is a makeup bag essential for summer, so I will be giving this a try as soon as my Lancôme mascara runs out!

#7: Eye Studio Color Tattoo by Maybelline

With all the beauty lovers fangirling over these Color Tattoos, I have no idea how I was able to resist purchasing them. I love eye shadows, but I'm not one to apply more than a simple eyeliner for a daily look, so I suppose it made the temptation a little bit less effective? Although, I won't deny, I'd love to give them a try.

#8: Baby Lips lip balms by Maybelline ...again

Yes, the most adored lip balms all around  the world, I have not laid hands on. Not even one. I love the thought of amazing scented lip products with a great sensation to your lips, but I haven't purchased any of the baby lips collection! With the electro edition now out, I definitely might be flaunting them in my makeup collection very soon!

#9: Bikini So Teeny nail polish by Essie

This beautiful shade has been adored by Zoella280390, MacBarbie07, ThatsHeart and many more. It has been on fingertips on as many videos as I've been tuning into lately. The colour has definitely been an obsession, but who could blame them?! I'm in love with this shade of blue!

#10: All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray by Urban Decay

Makeup setting sprays have been a must ever since summer has come to a start, with long days out, perhaps a flight or two or even road trips, having your makeup in place is definitely something every girl wants. Apparently, you can fearlessly sweat, take part in a water fight or get your Jacuzzi on... You are guaranteed makeup that always looks just-applied. I've seen this get a lot of good reviews, but there's a 50/50 chance of me getting this because I don't actually use setting sprays.

There you go, a complete list of 10 products all beauty gurus own that my collection lacks! If you'd like a part 3, making it 5 additional products, let me know in the comments below!

Do you have any of these products? Which do you recommend? Please rave in the comments x

Also, I've just made an right before I began writing up this post, so if there's anything you'd like to know about me, anything you'd want advice on, leave me a message right there [ ]and I'd gladly answer!

Hope you enjoyed,

10 Products... Part 1!

Hello gorgeous!

Since I haven't been able to post last week, I'm doing a double post this week and to start off, I have something new and unique to please you guys! I've done my research and this sort of post hasn't been done yet, so if you're a fellow blogger and would like to use this idea, I'd be flattered, but please give me credit*

I love watching my favourite gurus raving about products they love to pieces. As a beauty & fashion addict, I naturally look forward to every video and blog post. One thing I've noticed are the products almost every beauty guru I know must have. They're basically, the beauty gurus closet staple. But, I've yet to try them out. Got a glimpse of what this post is about?.... It's the 10 products every beauty guru owns and my beauty collection lacks.. Part 1!

Let's start!

#1: The POREfessional primer by Benefit

This beauty is on the top of my to-buy list! A lady at a local cosmetics store applied some on my hand the other day and ever since, I've been in love. Being made to minimise pores, give your skin a silky touch and stop oil from out-shining your gorgeous look when applied under or even over makeup, this product is perfection. I'm already sure this primer is gonna be a favourite as soon as I get my hands on it.

#2: Benetint by Benefit

First, may I say how GORGEOUS this packaging is!? A 2-in-1 bottle dying to be in every makeup bag out there. A rose tinted lip and cheek stain that lasts for hours is definitely a must. Being waterproof and just the right size, it's a great summer essential.

#3: Hello Flawless [ Oxygen Wow ] by Benefit .. again

Yet again, one of my 10 products are from Benefit (sorry!).. This foundation gives you light to medium coverage, hydrated sun-safe skin and a completely natural look. Sadly, I have been trying to stay away from foundations with the heat of summer to hopefully make my skin more alive. But, when I'm back to the foundation world, I'll definitely be giving this a try.
#4: In The Garden Eye Shadow Pallete By Stila

On almost every makeup tutorial or collection video, this lovely palette will be sure to guarantee a spot. 10 beautiful eye shadows that go with every skin tone, along with a best selling smudge stick waterproof eye liner, I have no question in doubt why my favourite gurus flaunt this.

#5: Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer

I'm definitely a fan of FleurDeForce from Youtube and she's very picky when it comes to makeup which I totally love because she only raves about products that really are good. And well this product, has been a guest on her videos numerous times. A 16 hour long concealer  hiding away your flaws and blemishes for a picture perfect look!
It's crazy that I haven't purchased these beautiful products yet but as a beauty & fashion guru on the steps of success, I will definitely be purchasing these soon enough to give you my own review!
That's part 1 of the 10 products my collection lacks post, if you're willing to see part 2, let me know on the comments below! Do you own all or some of these products? Which ones should I purchase first? Please rave in the comments!
I hope you enjoyed,
